Tuning electronic structure through halide modulation of mesoionic carbene cobalt complexes

Abstract: The first examples of Co(ii) mesoionic carbene complexes (CoX2DippMIC2; X = Cl−, Br−, I−) demonstrate a new electronic perturbation on tetrahedral Co(ii) complexes.
