“Tuning into One’s Self:” Foucault’s Technologies of the Self and Mindful Fitness

Abstract: This article explores the application of Michel Foucault’s technologies of the self—practices of freedom that are characterized by ethics of self-care, critical awareness, and aesthetic self-stylization.
