“…In the studies conducted, teachers working in primary, secondary and high schools (Gürültü, Aslan, & Alcı, 2018;Gürültü, Aslan, & Alcı, 2020;Uyar & Çiçek, 2021;Özdemir, 2021;Çınar, 2019;Eker, Akar-Elekoğlu, Kamar, & Kamar, 2019;Demir & Arslan, 2021;Çelik, 2020) proficiency levels in teaching 21st century skills were found to be high. Similarly, in studies conducted on the basis of branches, Turkish teachers (Tunagür & Aydın, 2021;Mete, 2021), classroom teachers (Coşanay, 2021;Kıyasoğlu & Çeviker-Ay, 2020;Ekşioğlu, 2021), science teachers (Kavukçu, 2021;Ekşioğlu, 2021;Balkaş-Yaşar, 2021), English teachers (Şahin & Han, 2020) consider themselves competent in the use and teaching of 21st century skills. Updating the curriculum with the influence of the constructivist approach since 2005, integrating 21st century skills into the programs, preparing the programs of higher education institutions that train teachers in this direction, and reconsidering the criteria determining the competencies of the teachers according to the requirements of the age have been effective in the high skill scores.…”
