In the study, the impact of personality traits on social marketing of sport was investigated. A total of 401 students who continue their education and training in different departments voluntarily participated in the study. The e-survey method prepared in the internet environment was applied as a data collection technique in the research. Two scales were used in the application. The personality scale developed by(Benet-Martínez & John, 1998). and adapted into Turkish by (Sümer & Sümer, 2005). was used. Secondly, the “Attitude Scale on Social Marketing of Sports” developed by (Ünal, 2009). was used in the study. There is a high level of positive relationship between satisfaction. However, this relationship is not statistically significant (R: ,074 , R2: ,006 , p < 0,05). According to the results of the T- test on the significance of the regression coefficient, it is seen that personality traits do not have a significant effect (T ፦1,486, p < 0.05). Examining the impact of personality characteristics in the social aspect of this type of marketing, which targets large audiences such as sports marketing, especially for companies involved in this sector and, of course, is great for clubs is of great importance. Because, companies should pay attention to this detail in their next strategic moves in this area. Future studies can be applied on businesses. Different dimensions of personality traits can be considered. Social sports marketing can be evaluated in the context of product mix. And this evaluation can be constructed both in terms of consumers (fans). and businesses.

Etkilediği parametreler, yükselen katma değeri, istihdam potansiyeli, sosyal uyum ve sosyal içermeye katkısı gibi faktörler spor faaliyetlerini sektörleştirmiştir. Günümüzde temel sektörlerle rekabet edebilecek potansiyeli yakalamış olan spor sektörünün bu gelişim seyrini koruyacağı düşünülmektedir. Vurgulanan büyüme potansiyelinin gerçekleşmesi ulusal vizyon belgelerinde de taahhüt altına alınmıştır. Gerçekleştirilen çalışma ile sektör kavramı analiz edilerek sektörleşme süreçleri tartışılmış dünyada ve Türkiye’de spor sektörünün diğer sektörlerle olan ilişkisi incelenmiş, spor sektörünün sosyo-ekonomik anlamda sağladığı katma değer sektörün sağladığı istihdam, ticaret hacmi ve yatırım potansiyeli perspektifinde incelenerek “Spor Sektör Müdür?” tartışması gerekçelendirilmeye çalışılmıştır. Yapılan analizler sonucunda spor sektörünün istihdam faktörü, katma değeri ve diğer sektörlerle etkileşimi anlamında temel sektörler ile rekabet edebileceği sonucuna ulaşılmıştır. Yine gerçekleştirilen çalışma ile Türkiye özelinde spora ilişkin gerçekleştirilen yatırımların nitelik ve nicelik anlamında yıllar itibariyle artış seyrinde olduğu gözlemlenmiştir. Nihayetinde çok yönlü yapısı itibariyle ülkemizin sosyo-ekonomik yönden kalkınmasında bir dinamo vazifesi görebilecek potansiyele sahip olan spor sektöründen söz konusu faydanın sağlanabilmesi ise spora, sporcuya ve spor alt yapısına gerekli yatırımların yapılması ile doğrudan ilişkilidir.

An Investigation of the Sports Awareness of Employees in Sports Management According to Several Variables

The aim of this study is to raise the awareness of public employees in sports administration through various types of training, and to measure the awareness of public employees working in sports administration with regard to sports, as well as to reveal the problems facing sports in Turkey from the perspective of those working in sports administration. The research was carried out with a mixed method within the scope of the ‘phenomenology’ design, a quantitative and qualitative research design in the survey model. The study population consists of employees working in the central and provincial organizations of the Ministry of Youth and Sports, and the sample consists of 581 people working under different titles determined by the convenience sampling method. Personal characteristics, an information form with three open-ended questions and the Sport Awareness Scale (SAS) were used in the collection of the data. Regarding the psychometric properties, the Cronbach α value for the whole scale was 0.937, and the Cronbach α coefficients calculated for each sub-dimension were 0.947 and 0.851, respectively. EFA and CFA analyses also reveal that the scale had sufficient validity values. The continuous variables in the quantitative section were examined using the Kolmogorov-Smirnov test in terms of normality, and it was seen that the data obtained met this assumption (p>0.05). For this reason, the analyses were carried out with t-tests and an ANOVA test, which are parametric difference tests. The data obtained through interview questions were analyzed by content analysis. SPSS 24 and NVIVO 10 package programs were used for the analysis. The findings show that the awareness of those working in sports management is higher among men than women, that for those who have just started their professional life it is higher than for others, and that those who have been working in sports management for a long time increase their awareness over time. The most important problems of Turkish sports are stated as lack of infrastructure, lack of merit, lack of sustainable sports policy, discontinuity of studies, insufficient sports awareness education and insufficient awareness of directing children to sports at an early age.
