Abstract

Highlights *Importance of integrated disaster management implementation before, during and after disaster * Planning phase stages in disaster management * Necessity of risk mitigation which should be considered as priority case Aim The aim of this study to emphasize the importance of integrated disaster management implementation pre-, during and post disaster, additionally planning phase stages in disaster management. Location Turkey Methods To define and integrated disaster management phases of disaster response phase in Turkey prepared by Turkish Republic Ministry of Interior's Disaster and Emergency Management Presidency (AFAD) Provincial Disaster Response Plan are used. For this purpose, AFAD data and analysis method were used. Results The integrated Policy and precautions of disaster management with the implementation the risk and crisis management of the 2023 targets will be significantly reduced life and property losses in Turkey.
