Turning over Investigation of Low-Speed Guideway Switch for High-Speed Maglev Transportation

Abstract: In this paper, investigations on turning over of the first low-speed guideway switch for high-speed maglev transportation are introduced. Through geometric nonlinear analyses and comparisons for several characteristics during the turning over process of the switch, a schema with minimum position deviation, smooth changes of line types, gentle variations of stresses, and driving forces, is obtained.
