“…Some authors have reported higher IOP values at night than during the day, with a nocturnal peak value [41], while Jaén-Diaz et al [23] found higher IOP values in the morning than in the evening. In the mouse, rabbit, rat, chicken, and marmoset, the 24-h IOP pattern is biphasic when the animals are maintained on a 12/12 L/D cycle [1,31,33,34,42,45].
