Abstract:Conventional electromagnetic microelectromechanical system scanners require a biaxial (two-axis) external magnetic field to obtain a biaxial torque, which increases the number of bulky external permanent magnets and the packaging size caused by 45 • -orientated placement of permanent magnets.
