Two chromosome-level genome assemblies of galling aphids Slavum lentiscoides and Chaetogeoica ovagalla

Abstract: Slavum lentiscoides and Chaetogeoica ovagalla are two aphid species from the subtribe Fordina of Fordini within the subfamily Eriosomatinae, and they produce galls on their primary host plants Pistacia. We assembled chromosome-level genomes of these two species using Nanopore long-read sequencing and Hi-C technology.
