Two Different Three-Dimensional Uranium-Containing Polymolybdates Based on Zn(II) for the Heterogeneous Catalytic Construction of C–N Bond

et al.

Abstract: The introduction of transition metal (TM) ions into polyoxometalates (POMs) cannot only bring about interesting structural diversities but also enable changes in properties. However, TM-containing Silverton-type polyoxomolybdates are still lacking in terms of structural diversity and application development. Herein, two Zn(II)-containing Silverton-type {UMo 12 O 42 }based polyoxomolybdates, H 1.89 Na 4.11 (H 2 O) 9 Zn[UMo 12 O 42 ]•4.5H 2 O (Zn-1) and H 1.8 Na 4.2 (H 2 O) 12 Zn[UMo 12 O 42 ] (Zn-2) were hydrot… Show more

“…Polyoxometalates (POMs) are a kind of multifunctional metal oxide cluster with a nanometer scale. Their unique structural characteristics make them have strong charge transfer and storage capabilities and can be widely used in the field of energy conversion. At the same time, POMs also have semiconductor-like properties, which are good electron acceptors and have a strong ability to capture electrons. , Therefore, POMs can be used as a new type of high-performance friction material for TENG . Finding POMs that are more matched with semiconductor energy levels instead of semiconductor materials as friction materials for TENG can not only reduce the preparation cost of TENG equipment but also effectively improve the electrical output performance of TENG.…”

“…and organic ligands (usually those containing coordination-active carboxyl, amidogen or hydroxy groups) have been introduced into the skeletons of POMs. 14–27 This situation undoubtedly contributes to an overwhelming diversity of molecular structures and unique properties, for example, photoluminescence/electroluminescence ability, reversible multi-electron transport capability, catalytic activity, and so on. Therefore, POM-based materials have been extensively utilized in optical devices, electrochemical/optical sensors, energy-related fields, and some other cutting-edge fields.…”
