Two different types of surface structures of methane utilizing bacteria

Abstract: Methylocystis spec., strain IC 493s/5, and Methylomonas albus WHITTENBURY, strain BG 8 (WHITTENBURY et al. 1970), are shown to form surface structures unusual with methane utilizing bacteria.
