“…Up to now, 2D MOFs and their derived catalysts have been demonstrated to be effective in various electrocatalytic processes, such as the oxygen evolution reaction (OER), the hydrogen evolution reaction (HER), the oxygen reduction reaction (ORR), the CO 2 reduction reaction (CO 2 RR), the nitrogen reduction reaction (NRR), the urea oxidation reaction (UOR) and organic molecule oxidation. 7,8,10,[68][69][70][71][72][73] Because research progress for 2D MOFs and 2D MOF-derived electrocatalysts has been summarized and discussed in several reviews, especially for the OER and ORR, in this section, the recent applications of 2D MOFs and 2D MOF-derived electrocatalysts will be briefly summarized and discussed.
