Two distinct calcium signaling behaviors are present in interstitial cells of Cajal of the gastroesophageal junction

Abstract: Background/Objectives: The lower esophageal sphincter (LES) is located within the gastroesophageal junction (GEJ) and generates tone to prevent gastric reflux into the esophagus.
