Two-level OOC-based fiber-optic CDMA systems with QoS using optical analog-digital converter (ADC)

Abstract: A novel two-level signaling technique in OOC-based fiber-optic CDMA systems is proposed. Users of the system are categorized into two classes. Users of class 1 and 2 transmit the optical pulses at power level P and 2P respectively. We study two kinds of receiver structure for the proposed two-level system.
