Two New Beggiatoa Species Inhabiting Marine Mangrove Sediments in the Caribbean

Abstract: Beggiatoaceae, giant sulphur-oxidizing bacteria, are well known to occur in cold and temperate waters, as well as hydrothermal vents, where they form dense mats on the floor.
