Two new species of Jungiella (Diptera: Psychodidae: Psychodinae) from the Palaearctic Region

Abstract: Two new species of Jungiella Vaillant, 1972 are described: Jungiella janiki sp. nov. from the Bílé Karpaty PLA (Czech Republic) and J. syriaca sp. nov. from the Province Al Lathiqiyeh (Syria). Differential diagnoses for males are included and morphological characters illustrated. A catalogue of 37 species of Jungiella known so far is presented.
