Abstract:The o‐hydroxyphenyl ethyl ketone skeleton is prevalent in many biologically active natural products and active pharmaceutical ingredients. Herein, a two‐step protocol has been developed for synthesis of various β‐substituted o‐hydroxyphenyl ethyl ketones.
