Two Thumbs Way, Way Up

Abstract: When fourth graders in an urban district—where standardized testing is traditionally a struggle—learned to peer review and recap their daily mathematics lessons in an easy-to-implement index card format, 100 percent passed the end-of-year assessment, 73 percent at the advanced level.
