Two-Tier Multi-Rate Slotted ALOHA for OWC/RF-Based IoT Networks

Abstract: We consider a massive Internet of Things (IoT) scenario where indoor IoT devices access the network via optical wireless communication (OWC) IoT systems that relay data via a backhaul radio frequency (RF) low-power wide-area network (LP WAN).
