Two Warehouse Inventory Model for Deteriorating Items with Time Dependent Demand under Inflation

Abstract: In recent years, various researchers have discussed a two warehouse inventory system. This kind of system was first discussed by Hartely (1976) [10]. Hartely presented a basic twowarehouse model, in which the cost of transporting a unit from rented warehouse (RW) to own warehouse (OW) was not considered. Sarma (1983)[20] developed a deterministic inventory model with infinite replenishment rate and two levels of storage. In that model, he extended Hartely's model by introducing the transportation cost. Murde… Show more

“…Whereas, both the stock and price dependent demand were assumed by Mishra et al [33] for constant deteriorating items in their proposed inventory problem. Also, the optimal cost estimated for imperfect quality and constant deteriorating items when demand depends upon both time and stock in a business cycle were presented by Khurana [22]. However, the stock, price and time-dependent demand having constant deteriorating inventory problems were examined by Chen et al [8].…”

“…Pal et al [42] discussed three-layer multi-item manufacture-inventory model for multiple dealers and vendors. Khurana [43] investigated the impacts of crumbling in both the stockrooms and have considered a steady pace of weakening. In any case, we have taken a straight-time subordinate disintegration rate and Weibull dissemination type crumbling rate in raw materials.…”

“…(13) During the routine out period, the reserving depends on the waiting period length for subsequent replenishment via a subcontract. Preservation expertise is used for monitoring the deterioration rate [13,43]. ( 14) Preservation technology is one of the most important investments to prevent the product from deteriorating.…”

“…Many papers are published on two level inventory models with deterministic demand by considering the various patterns stock dependent demand with permissible delay in payment was taken by [2] and [3] considered exponentially increasing demand, [4]considered demand with price sensitive, [5] developed a model with ramp type demand and weibull deterioration, while [6] considered the power demand pattern, [7] has dealt time dependent demand under inflation. A two level of inventory model with probabilistic demand and uniform demand is considered by [8] and discussed when the inventory is dependent on time and also with a constant age specific rate.…”
