Abstract:BACKGROUND: Prolonged course of diabetes mellitus often leads to the development of vascular complications, insufficiency of ovarian function. The occurrence of diabetes mellitus in women before pregnancy (pregestational diabetes mellitus) it can have various adverse consequences for the mother, fetus, child and the course of pregnancy.
