Abstract: Background Liver cancer ranks third in fatalities among all cancer-related deaths. As a traditional chemotherapy drug, the application of cis-Diamminedichloroplatinum (II) (cisplatin, CDDP) for the treatment of liver cancer is greatly limited by its side effects and high drug resistance. Therefore, we are in urgent need of a more effective and less toxic CDDP therapeutic regimen.
