Über chelatbildende Salicylsäure‐Analoge der Thiophenreihe

Abstract

Derivatives of 2‐carboxy‐3‐hydroxy‐thiopheneand of 3‐carboxy‐4‐hydroxy‐thio‐ phene have been synthesized in order to examine the influence of different bond orders on the chelating properties of the salicylic acid grouping in these compounds, which show a blue color reaction with aqueous FeCl3.
