Ukraine: the medical students left behind, helping out, and left wondering

Abstract: As the Russia-Ukraine war enters its third week, the United Nations has estimated that over 2 million people have fled Ukraine, 1 including international medical students studying in the country. According to the Ukrainian government, there are over 76 000 2 international students enrolled in its universities. While most have chosen to leave, some have decided to remain.
