“…Not only invasion of intrusion external materials, but also devices can be successfully operated inside the capsule. For damping materials in commercials, alphagel 348 and D3O 349 are successful materials for damping mechanical stress from viscoelastic properties as shown in Figure 28f,g. The shock absorption function of these materials show promise in the bioelectronics market.…”

“…In general, designing such F‐TEDs involves considering the use of flexible inorganic thermoelectric materials as thermoelectric legs to impart overall flexibility to the device 32,211–229 . Additionally, the use of small‐sized solid‐state inorganic thermoelectric materials as thermoelectric legs can provide relatively higher performance to the device, although their flexibility might be more limited 230–247 . Furthermore, the rational design of device structures and the use of appropriate flexible heat sinks are also important research focuses for designing vertically oriented F‐TEDs 248 …”

“…In terms of exploring excellent thermoelectric materials, significant effort has been made regarding organic/inorganic TE materials and optimization strategies for TE materials ( Chen et al, 2021 ; Soleimani et al, 2021 ; Yang et al, 2022c ). Recently, Toan et al ( Toan et al, 2022 ) developed an ultra-flexible considerable-performance thermoelectric generator (TEG) using a silicon rubber sheet and thermoelectric material fabricated by electrodeposition. The ultra-flexible TEG displays a high output performance, with an output voltage of 1 V and power density of 552.9 μW cm −2 under a ΔT of 60 K. Moreover, based on the ultra-flexible TEG, a self-powered temperature/humidity monitoring electronic device was successfully constructed.…”
