Ultra-relativistic heavy-ion collisions - a hot cocktail of hydrodynamics, resonances and jets

Abstract: Abstract. Ultra-relativistic heavy-ion collisions at energies of RHIC and LHC are considered. For comparison with data the HYDJET++ model, which contains the treatment of both soft and hard processes, is employed. The study focuses mainly on the interplay of ideal hydrodynamics, final state interactions and jets, and its influence on the development of harmonics of the anisotropic flow.
