Ultrasonic propagation in concentrated colloidal dispersions: improvements in a hydrodynamic model

Abstract: Recent theoretical and experimental findings demonstrate that modeling ultrasonic attenuation of a concentrated colloidal suspension requires inclusion of shear-induced contributions, an element being unaccounted for by most scattering models.
