The ultrasonic ve locity (u), density (ρ) and viscosity (η) of an amino acid L-Valine of various concentrations in 2% of NaBr solutions have been measured. From these experimentally measured parameters thermodynamic parameters such as adiabatic compressibility (β ୟ ), intermolecular free length (L ), acoustic impedance (Z) and internal pressure (π ୧ ) we re calculated. It was found that there is certain degree of variation in these paramete rs with change in concentration and tempe rature. The variations of acoustic paramete rs with concentration and te mpe rature indicate the existence of intermolecular inte raction in the present systems.
