Ultrasound detection of visceral adhesion after intraperitoneal ventral hernia treatment: A comparative study of protected versus unprotected meshes

Abstract: Discussion section: 2nd paragraph, first sentence should read: In order to reduce the risk of the adhesion, the use of a hydrophobic material with reduced porosity (ePTFE) has been contemplated for several years [10]. 3rd paragraph, first sentence should read: Apart from the permanent smooth and hydrophobic membranes [14], some next-generation devices have recently been developed and have shown very good anti-adhesive properties [1, 15, 16, 17].
