Abstract:Carotid wed (CW) is a rare pathology representing intimal protrusion in the bifurcation of the common carotid or sinus of internal carotid arteries, associated with embolic cryptogenic stroke and high risk of its recurrence despite ongoing antiplatelet therapy.
