“…POCUS is not a comprehensive US assessment. 8 Diagnoses for which POCUS is suitable should fulfill two criteria: 1) diagnosis must be relevant to consecutive treatment decision making and 2) diagnosis must be easily and accurately recognizable by physicians applying US without the necessity for extended US training.
