Ultrathin two-dimensional (2D) manganese-based metal–organic framework nanosheets for selective photocatalytic oxidation of thioether

Abstract

We synthesized a 2D Mn(ii) MOF with adjacent layers stacked by weak interactions. We peeled the MOF into nanosheets using an ultrasound method, thus enhancing the photocatalytic oxidation of thioether due to the exposure of more active centers.
