Um estudo de desempenho de consultas em dados abertos em saúde utilizando ferramentas OBDA

Abstract

With the growing amount of information managed by InformationSystems presented by different institutions, data integration poseschallenges, such as the execution of queries in multiple data sourceswith computational cost and viable response time. The present workdescribes a practical experiment, which had as main objective toverify the performance of a OBDA tool with different DBMS in thequeries execution in SUS open data sources. The obtained resultsindicate that the choice of the database management system caninfluence the performance of the queries during the data integrationprocess. Discussing the performance of technological tools andmethods for integrating health data is a relevant topic to achievethe objectives of access to information distributed in the differentHealth Information Systems (HIS).
