Abstract: Renal cell carcinoma (RCC) is the predominant form of malignant kidney cancer. Sunitinib, a primary treatment for advanced, inoperable, recurrent, or metastatic RCC, has shown effectiveness in some patients but is increasingly limited by drug resistance.
