Understanding Mathematics Classroom Teaching: Hermeneutics Inquiry

Abstract: In order to understand meaning of mathematics classroom teaching, this paper uses narrative to present the meaning through hermeneutics inquiry from the author's research experiences. There are two threads in the research experience: research on classroom teaching and students' understanding in classroom teaching. The narrative provides not only a lived experience but a process for the action towards the essential meaning of students' learning through hermeneutics inquiry.
