Abstract:Unarmed Aerial Vehicle (UAV) systems are very challenging targets due to their small size and ability to fly in low altitudes and speed. Particularly, in radar systems UAVs can exhibit similar radar cross section and Doppler parameters to clutter returns such as birds and trees. For this reason, often the micro-Doppler signature of the detected target is employed as discriminative characteristic. This work aims to examine micro-Doppler jamming solutions that could be implemented on board of miniature UAV platf… Show more
“…This results in a very unique time–frequency signature that can be used to separate them from other targets. In [33], a general signal model for UAV micro‐Doppler was discussed. Here, the same framework is employed to investigate the feasibility of micro‐Doppler signature extraction using GNSS‐based PBR.…”

scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
