Undiagnosed haemoglobinopathies among pregnant women attending antenatal care clinics in Pune, India

Abstract: Pregnant women with iron deficiency and those who are carriers of haemoglobinopathies present with anaemia of varying severity. There is no antenatal screening for haemoglobinopathies in India.
