Purpose – Industrial parks face shortage experts, and it is important to exam-ine the factors that influence turnover intention among experts working in the industrial parks. Low salary and supervision may lead to employee dissatis-faction and a significant inverse relationship between job satisfaction, includ-ing subsequent effects on turnover among employees working in the indus-trial parks. However, little or no study was done on the mediating role of job satisfaction and turnover intention among industrial park workers in Ethiopia industrial parks considering supervision and salary as independent variables. Aim - This study examine the mediating effects of job satisfaction on turnover intention among employee of industrial parks located in the eastern part of Ethiopia Design/methodology/approach – A cross-sectional survey design employed by including 400 sample in the study. SEM based PLS were used to examine the mediating effect of job satisfaction between salary, supervision and em-ployee turnover intention. Findings: This study showed that job satisfaction significantly mediated the relationship between salary, supervision and turnover intention. 19.4 percent of the variance in turnover intention explained by salary whereas, 66.6 percent of the variance caused by supervision. The mediation pathway accounted for 41.6 percent of the variance between the independent and dependent varia-bles. Significant relationship between pay, supervision and job satisfaction of workers at the industrial park. It is imperative to state unequivocally that, satisfied workers perform more efficiently, are more committed, and desire to work with their respective. Organizations for a lifetime. Efforts should there-fore be made to enhance the workers’ satisfaction with their job. Implications for nursing management - This study provides industrial park administrators with a resource to build a supportive environment to increase employees job satisfaction and to decrease turnover that affects overall productivity of the sector at regional level

The Impact of E-Commerce on the Labor Market

E-commerce is one of the industrial sectors created as a result of technological progress, and has created new jobs for the economy. However, this sector is conditioned not only by the level of digitalization of each state, but also by the speed of integration of technology in the business environment. The main purpose of the article is to present the impact of e-Commerce development on the labor market. It also considers impact on the labor market of human capital with advanced technological skills. It focuses on data from a particular period situated between two major crises (the economic crisis of 2008 and the health crisis of 2020). We want to know to what extent a technology-created sector can compensate for technological unemployment. To test the working hypothesis, we developed a panel regression model for a sample of 28 European states. The results indicate that 99.5% of the variation in the labor market activity rate of people aged 15 to 64 years in the selected sample of states is explained by the model. This confirms that the development of e-Commerce and an increase in the percentage of technology-specialized human resources contribute to the increase in activity rate in the labor market. As a result, the labor market must be assisted in keeping up with technology by restructuring the education system, or introducing courses that maintain competitiveness and continuous development.

This note assesses the relationship between labour productivity and employment in the framework of the unobserved component model as well as the vector autoregressive model. In the case of the organized/formal manufacturing sector in India, the transitory increase in productivity is seen to reduce the man-days in the short run, though it is not statistically significant. Permanent shock to productivity decreases labour inputs permanently, and vice versa and their association is also statistically significant. Incentivizing the firms to expand their activities, diversify production and process secondary products may help restore employment in the face of a permanent productivity shock.
