Unexpected cause of malignant otitis externa: A rare case report

Abstract: Malignant otitis externa is an uncommon infection affecting the ear canal and temporal bone. The most common causative organism is Pseudomonas aeruginosa. In this article, we report a malignant otitis externa caused by actinomycosis, a case never been reported before in the literature.
