Abstract:The soldier beetle fauna of East Asia is very diverse, and despite the long-term tradition of taxonomic research, it remains incompletely known. A new soldier beetle species Lycocerus todai Nakamura sp. nov. is described from Okinawa Island (Ryukyu Islands, southwest Japan).
