Unfavorable biological behavior and treatment response of neuroendocrine ovarian metastases of midgut neuroendocrine tumors

Abstract: Neuroendocrine ovarian metastases (NOM) predominantly derive from midgut neuroendocrine tumors (NETs) and develop in about 25% of women with advanced stage of this malignancy. Little is known of the growth rate and treatment response of NOM.
