Pulmonary vein atresia is a rare congenital abnormality that could presenting alone or associated with other congenital abnormalities. Usually, such defects of development combined with the symptoms of cardiovascular disease. However, some patients are asymptomatic. Due to the nonspecific imaging findings it is easy to misdiagnose lung parenchymal changes as another lung disease.
In this article we present the case report of asymptomatic 21-year-old patient with unilateral pulmonary vein atresia combined with pulmonary artery hypoplasia, interstitial lung changes using computed tomography is described and a literature review of the relevant topic was conducted.
