Abstract:Purpose: To report a case of unilateral central retinal vein occlusion (CRVO) in a young patient with a high level of lipoprotein(a) (LP(a)).
Case presentation: A 7-year-old boy reported two days of vision loss in his left eye. The best-corrected visual acuity (BCVA) was 40 cm in front of his left eye. A complete fundus evaluation including fluorescein fundus angiography (FFA)showed CRVO in his left eye.
