Abstract: Background Children with congenital heart disease (CHD) demonstrate long-term neurodevelopmental impairments. We investigated contrast-enhanced ultrasound (CEUS) cerebral perfusion in a fetal animal model exposed to sub-physiologic oxygen at equivalent levels observed in human fetuses with CHD.
