In this study, it is aimed to develop a valid and reliable scale that can be used to reveal the expectations of high school students from education. Therefore, scale development stages were followed. Expert opinions were obtained for the items prepared based on the literature review and the opinions of the students. The data of the study were collected in 2019. The scale form was completed by 764 students studying in various high schools in Kırşehir and exploratory factor analysis was conducted on this data. For the confirmatory factor analysis, 608 students who were studying in different high schools in Gaziantep were reached and confirmatory factor analysis was performed on this data. In the exploratory factor analysis, structure of the scale consisting of 36 items and 4 factors was revealed. These factors were named as "Expectations about Qualified Education", "Expectations about Changing and Stretching School Rules", "Expectations about Teachers and School Administrators" and "Expectations about Social and Scientific Activities". Cronbach's Alpha internal consistency coefficient for the whole scale was .954. The results of the confirmatory factor analysis showed that the values obtained for the fit indices were high and acceptable. As a result, a valid and reliable measurement tool that can be used in revealing expectations of high school students from education was obtained. It is important to reveal the expectations of high school students from education and to arrange education according to these expectations in the context of increasing the efficiency of education.
