Unmasking Dermatofibrosarcoma Protuberans: Clinical Considerations Post‐Surgical Excisions

Abstract: Introduction Dermatofibrosarcoma protuberans (DFSP) is a rare (prevalence = 0.8–4.5 cases / 1 million) malignant tumor of cutaneous soft tissue. Typical clinical presentation involves an asymptomatic, slowly enlarging indurated plaque, involving the dermis and soft tissues, usually on the trunk.
