Abstract:Deoxypodophyllotoxin synthase (DPS), a nonheme Fe(II)/2-oxoglutarate (2OG)-dependent oxygenase, is a key enzyme that is involved in the construction of the fused-ring system in (−)-podophyllotoxin biosynthesis by catalyzing the C−C coupling reaction.
