Unravelling the Interactions Prevailing in Mixed Micellar System of Surface-Active Ionic Liquid and Cationic Surfactant

Abstract: The investigation of mixed micellar behavior of surface-active ionic liquid (SAIL) i.e. 1-butyl-3-methylimidazolium hexadecyl sulfate [C4mim][HS] with cationic surfactant cetyltrimethylammonium bromide (CTAB) has been done to explore the type of interactions prevailing in SAIL/Surfactant mixed system.
