Unsupported advance length in tunnels constructed using New Austrian Tunnelling Method and ground surface settlement

Abstract: SUMMARY Tunnels constructed using New Austrian Tunnelling Method (NATM) are always based on certain round (unsupported) advance lengths, after which, the temporary lining is placed.
