Unusual Cause of a Left Ventricular Mass in an Octogenarian with Metastatic Squamous Cell Lung Cancer

Abstract: A computed tomography scan of the chest in an 83-yearold male patient with a history of metastatic squamous cell lung cancer revealed a mass localized to the left ventricle. Subsequent imaging revealed this to be an incidental cardiac fibroma.Echocardiographic, computed tomography and cardiac magnetic resonance images and a review of the literature is presented.
